iMac Pro - No image on internal display - External image present - customer been inside

Hello friends,

Client has attempted CPU replacement on this, after replacement client said internal display stopped working but external still worked. Client bought new display and mounted it, internal still doesnt work.

Component im pointing to in image has been ripped off and 2 pins in cpu socket were bent. The pins have been bent back.

Wondering if the component in question is vital or the cause would be something else, im suspecting the display issue is not because of this.

What is your 820-xxxxx MLB code?

Check if video connector is not damaged.
Also inspect for knocked off components near it.

Board is 820-00967

Video connector looks good, no knocked components nearby. One knocked what i presume is a resistor near the connector


I noticed another knocked component near the first one, see the arrow.
