Hi. So here is a little back story, my situation now and why I made this post.
I've been doing board repair a very short 3 months. I was actually inspired to do this by watching the yotube videos. I already have a very well setup electronics lab that I built overt the past 2 years so all I needed was an ultra sonic and a microscope and the will to learn. I've gone from building projects and audio gear to repairing boards.
I started repairing my own boards for practice and after selling maybe 40 working machines on the eBay (I also have been selling other things for a couple of years on eBay), I put up a listing for board repair.
After a very short time I made a deal with a guy who has a deal with an insurance company and is sending me hs machines for repairs and find myself with far more work than I can handle.
I need someone to reassemble and disassemble these machines and test screens and keyboards so I can spend time doing the boards.
I'm just about at the point where I'm looking for an office or store and taking on a staff (the other desktop and parts sales contributes to this).
I need to advertise for a co-worker and interview any prospective applicants.
I have never run a business before, so I have never done any of this stuff before.
I don't know If I should I rent a store front or an office and what kind of pay to offer employees.
If any of you guys with more expirience and a little further on than me can offer advice or impart some wisdom learned from your exirience it would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers.
