Macbook 2018 T2 iCloud

Hello,
i didn’t deal yet with any MacBook 2018 that could have an iCloud lock,
I will buy some MacBook untested and not sure they have iCloud or not
how to check the MacBook iCloud state ? could it be unlocked?

We cannot touch the BIOS on these machines yet; it is stored into T2 chip...

Who to check if it is icloud locked ? Do you suggest a website to verify ?

You can't without access to the machine, or get cozy with an AASP who can check it for you.
Also if it is locked it can go in the trash. Basically the same as iPhones now. You can still swap the CPU though, iCloud is only tied to the T2, ROM, NANDs, EEPROM.
