Macbook A1398 (820-3787) No Display

Macbook came in with No Image - No BackLight.

I have another A1398 (820-00163) . I tried swapping the displays. Still the same. Are these cross compatible ?

Moreover the Display of the 3787 will not work in 00163. ( If there arent cross compatible then okay but if they are then the Display and Board both have an issue.

2015 year is not compatible with previous screens.
You can get image, no backlight.

The image must come first, before the backlight.
Did you test external video and USB activity?

Should i follow 820-3332 method from your How-To Collection ?

LCD_MUX_SEL from U9650. Jummper to ground?

Even after Step 2. i am not getting any display.

TP[1]LCD_PWR_EN // TP[1]LCD_BKLT_EN // R9720 Pin 1. > Tied Together.
C9700 Pin 2 // TP[1] DP_EXTB_MUX_SEL_EG // Pin 15 of U9700 > Tied Together.

I usually do all 3 steps directly.

Do you really have USB activity?
Can you see the pendrive's Link LED flashing?
USB power is not the same as activity.

Do you get voltage at pins 28-30 of J8300, at least in the first seconds, when chimes?
Also check LCD_HPD, at same time.

Yes i get 4.9 V initially and then a continuos 3.9V at the pins.

Also i get 2.8V at LCD_HPD.

LCD is connected.
The heat sink is getting heated abnormally high. Should i do step 3 and remove L9330 and L9360.

Well i did that too. But no result

Replaced. Still the same. i Do not get any fan spin with board only connected to the charger (45W Magsafe). I have to connect the battery to get fan spin.
