Check R8450-53 and their traces.
Post voltage and diode mode on SCL/SDA lines.

Testing with known good LCD assembly is the best to do.
U8400 gets the backlight adjust from T-CON.

R8450/SCL = 0.466 and 4.61V

R8453 = .0466 AND 5.15V

R8451 /SDA =0.466= 4.5V

SCL = 4.61V

SDA = 4.55V

All traces are no damaged or corroded ic, Resistor or caps all is looking clean .I dont have another lcd to test but i continue to see images with a bright light, let me know what's next please

Thank you.

Just Cuious, i got a loose A1706 lcd here , I have one test cable do you think the A1706 would be ok for the test? the fpc connector is looking the same as the A1707 I dont know if that would work at least that would give me an idea of whats going on .

You can at least inspect backlight connector on the T-CON board.
Also may have only flexgate issue; easy to fix.

Usually you should note backlight reaction when moving the lid.
If flex is completely broken, may totally lose the backlight.
Youtube is full with flex gate videos; just search.
However, your problem may be different.
