Don't have known good trackpad or battery in stock.

This time did a restore via the Finder on the Mac - its stuck on "Waiting For Mac "

Bad NAND Chips ?

Can be NANDs, but should discard any other option.

Just in case, try DFU with 3V3_S5 shorted to ground.

Tried Restore with 3v3_s5 shorted. Still the same
