Hi guys.

I have this A2289 with no power on state. The adapter is stuck at 5v 0.2-0.3a cycling. There was a bit of corrosion on D8450 pin 1 and C8495 pin 1(no stuff), which I cleaned and resoldered, and still no power. I checked the diode mode for all coils and with no issues all values are good. I replaced U3100 with an original chip from another board and it does the same. There's another type c controller but wanted to ask for ideas before I replace it also...

Do you get PPBUS_G3H and 3V3_G3H_RTC?

They are both 0v and no short there's a diode value. PP3V3_G3H_RTC - 0.363 and PPBUS_G3H - 0.365

Remove F7000 and check C7050 voltage.

Removed F7000 and C7050 is 0.3v

Post U7000 basic voltages; P_IN, AUX_DET, SMC_RST_IN, VDDA/P, CBC_ON, EN_MVR, A/BMON.

P_IN - 5.12v
AUX_DET - 1.3v
SMC_RST_IN - Under the T2 shield need to remove it
VDDA - 2v
VDDP - 2v
CBC_ON - Under PMIC U7800 and under U7000
EN_MVR - 0v
A/BMON - both 0v

What is diode mode to ground on these lines?
Compare with good board.

Then bad ISL9240.
It should generates 5V there.

Just in case, check if R7075 has correct value.
