Macbook Air 11" 2010 and 2011 top case assembly interchangeable?

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if those two assemblies can be used on each other with the only difference being the presence of the kb backlight?
The customer doesn't want to pay a lot for a refurbished or "new" assembly (Which is understandable for a 7 year old machine) but I can't find any second hand 2010 assemblies, only the 2011 with keyboard backlight.

I don't think it should be an issue but I rather give the customer a fully functioning device back

I believe the speaker doesn't fit. I have a good case if you need one, does probably need a keyboard not tested it, but no dents.

Could be possible, I'll see if the speakers fit or if I maybe have 2011 speakers and of those will fit. I might contact you about that case, thanks for the offer!
