Hi. I have problem with macbook air 2015 board 820-00165. I got it from customer who looks like to try fix this laptop himself. There was lots of flux on efi chipset. What ever. I got clean bin file for a1466 emc 2925 and added serial number from the bottom of macbook. After reprogram chip and solder to main board reset pram and smc laptop is loading to half bar and is stop. I change for another fully working ssd but is still this same problem. Anybody can help with this?

Did you fix Fsys checksum, after SSN has been changed?
I reorganized my Google Drive, so the above link doesn't work anymore.
Try the file you've got as is, with the SSN comes on it.
Or try this one:

If the machine loads macOS, then need to change SSN and finally fix Fsys checksum.

hi , pls show me the procedure after changing the i/o and bios. What is fsys and changing serial number. ? I have 3 such 820-00165 motherboards. They all have same issue. I want to use them. Pls guide me. Thanks
Medusa programmer can do all the job onboard; clean ME, change serial number, fix Fsys checksum and more.
Good to get it, if you plan to repair Apple stuff.
Or you can use UEFITool NE, to solve the actual problem with Fsys checksum.

I extracted the bios from an 820-3115 MBP using a CH341a programmer. Is there a program that can get this into a readable format so I can see basic information about the computer (ex. serial number)? Thanks
