MacBook air 820-00165-A no charge light

Hello.
customer brought in a 820-00165-a
Says when she plugs her charger in the laptop turns off.

Upon inspection.
The backlight is turning off as soon as charger plugged in and there is no light on chatger.
iwhen using a torch it appears to have the charging symbol in batter status bar.
but it does not move.

I've tried a pram and a smc reset.
when and reset the light does not turn on to indicate it worked.

Any one experieexperienced before?

Do you mean machine works good on battery alone?
Did you try known good LIO flex/board?
Any voltage on the board if only charger is connected (no battery)?

Inspect J9500 for corrosion.

It's not lio flex/board.
if I don't plug in the lio flex the macbook back light works, even goes brighter.
it also says it's charging but it isn't.
yes works fine on battery. As soon as charger is plugged in it loses backlight. And the charger has no light on it.

doesn't seem to be any sign of water damage
However I can tell it has been stuck in a ultrasonic cleaner st dome point.

Did you test with original Magsafe 2 charger???
Do not use 1 -> 2 adapters for 2015 machines...

Post SMC_LID level when charger is plugged in.
Check voltages for ONEWIRE circuit on LIO board; the two SOT23-5 chips.
