MacBook Air / A2941 / 5.16V 0.0A /

Hello,

We have a MacBook Air Model A2941 that uses 5.16V but no Amps at all, there is no damage or water damage, the customer states that it just stopped booting up.

What should we begin having a look at and where we could get the schematics for this MacBook?

What is 820-xxxxx code of your board?

I could not find the board number, where is it located?

I have attached a photo of the board and was able to spot a damaged component, please take a look.

What is this damaged element and could simply replacing it restore the mac to working condition?

That is a filter capacitor.
If is shorted, remove it.
Board should start without it.
But is recommendable to replace it.
