Is that part of the horrible design on these screen !!
no cracks or physical damage , screen goes totally black
if bend more then 90 degrees.
seen this on so many of these models !!

Seems that now Apple try, like many other brands, to get machines which rapidly fail after warranty gone.
But some of them fail before.
They probably calculated high price covers such cases...

Touch Bar one .
