hello,

Macbook M1 Pro (82002100) came in with water damaged and completely dead
liquid around U8100

i put new one from older board and then the mac boot normal, but U8100 getting hot.
after several tests on coils find the L8260 have low resistance 166 ohms and diode mode 0.163

looks like m1 problem?

First of all, welcome to the forum!

Not sure what should be the correct value there.
Did you compare with good board?

Lift L/R8260 and check where that reading remains.

i test the correct value on good one
and the correct need to be 4.337k ohm and diode mode 0.434


L8260 as been removed:
pin 1-167.1 ohm / diode-0.163
pin 2-261.7k / diode-0.526

You need to remove R8260 too.
U8100 is still connected there!

Good enough to check in diode mode only...

same result, 0.161

u8100 in place

If the lower value remains on pad 1/L8260, then CPU is the first suspect.
There are still some filter capacitors connected, with low chance of failure; pages 19, 36, 40.
