My Mac is dead. I tested the power supply and I have 12V.
Based on some videos online, I found a short circuit in a line that seems quite common to the problem, but I don't have a good circuit board to identify which line it is and there's no schematic.
I removed a resistor to reduce the area of the short circuit (marked in the image). The small capacitors around the chip are shorted (in 0.007 diode mode). I tried injecting 1V, but nothing heats up. I've looked at it for hours under a microscope and can't find any visually damaged components.
Any suggestions?
