medusa 2 read bios 820-00165

Just received a new Medusa 2 and its worked great on newer usb c macbooks however I cant get it to read chips on 820-00165 or 820-3437 boards. Tried with the board off nothing connected, the battery only connected and only a/c adapter connected. Also tried with both a/c adapter and battery connected.

What is the correct way to read the bios chip on these?

Yes and as soon as the Medusa is inserted into J6100 the boards powers itself off and Medusa just says no chip seen.

Do you have to do anything different with the 820-3437? Trying the same procedure but the Medusa cant see the chip on these

While injecting 3v into pad 2 of R8133 the medusa still says no chip seen (H). 3V3_SUS does read 3v on pin 2 of U8130. What am I missing?

Maybe bad chip, traces?
Did you try with other 3437 board?
Remove the chip and use A4064 adapter.

Also can be corrosion underneath J6100...
