PP1V2_S3 Shorted (820-00840)

Hello,

All coils are good except PP1V2_S3_REG

I confirmed a short circuit on PP1V2_S3
I inject 1V and nothing is heating up. I don't want to inject more to avoid further damage.

Do you think of a possible RAM problem, if so I start with which one?

You can inject until 1.5V.
Which is the exact ohm value (not diode mode) of the short?

I mesure 0,0 Ohm

1V5 still nothing is heating ...

Impossible to get exactly 0.0 ohm; multimeter probes should give 0.3 ohm aprox.

Pure short may block a 5A lab PSU to inject; set amp linit to max before.
You may need 20A PSU...

Indeed I have 0.2 Ohm when I stay on it.

How much voltage do you want me to inject ?

I said UNTIL 1.5V; doesn't mean to inject 1.5V directly.
Start injecting with 0.8V and go high if needed.
5A PSU may not help you at all...
