[SOLVED]820-2936 question

ok I change the conector and now lcd lights but... show a slide show with colors , is white , then red then shows lines , then squares , green , etc , :s

i bet you I soldered bad ! after all is my first connector , I will try to get it to work if not I will just solder another one when I can.

hey guys I find that pins 17 and 18 had continuity I work it out with the iron and now I can see the question mark folder and screen turn on white the way suppose to , but I see like little red points like tv static , I was wondering that maybe is my screen tester im going to try on the one that go on this laptop.

I did check every pin 1 by one and check on the nets too , I cant find the one that's causing this , any idea of related pins or lines?

One of the LVDS lines is missing or shorted together or GND. Again take an LCD cable and measure all LVDS lines to the other side. Also check if pins are shorted together. L9080 is also infamous for being damaged, measure lines after it on diode mode all LVDS line should be the same value.

You don't replace L9080 if it measures fine! Measure again with a separate cable and measure on LCD end.
Also that .654 MUST go down on all lines when you plug in an LCD!

hello masters , since I have no cable I decide to run ASD just to see if something else is wrong and take care of that , and program find VPOR -- PBUS fail , how I can find witch one is it on the board?

Schematics, if you type Vp0R you will see it. Notice... that is not "O" is 0 (zero)
IF not try typing PBUS Voltage Sense Enable & Filter
Then check in board view
Visual inspection on resistors, if they look like C&B, replace them

hello masters , I finally was able to fix this board , I solder a new lcd conector and now is working fine thank you!
