[SOLVED] 820-3462 Not detecting battery

Battery is good have tested with another board
R5281 diode mode 0.502
R5280 0.450
Replaced u7000
still the same
Pin 2 of R5261 stays around 1.1v
Would this be SMC? reflow or new one?

Post exact diode mode to ground at SCL/SDA lines of battery bus (SMC 5 SMBus).
Also same for SMC 1 SMBus.

Before replace U7000 you should test without D6950.
Last suspect is SMC.

Hi mate im not with the board now, but the R5281 and R5280 are the SCL/SDA SMC 5 SMBus lines aren't they(sorry dont have schematics with me atm either)
R5281 pin 2 0.502
R5280 pin 2 0.450
Also sorry i miss typed i ment Pin 2 R5280 is 1.1v
Will check the SMC 1 SMBus tomorrow.

So you have a problem on SDA line.
Remove D6950 and check again the values.
Difference between SCL/SDA lines should be less than 0.5%...

You were correct once again
removed D6950 and values were the same.
Replaced it and now detects the battery.
