Originally No green light no power... dead

U3210 was short. removed it and replaced it

U7090 had broken trace. replaced and jumped wire

U7100 had broken trace too. jumped wire and replaced

Now i get green light but doesnt turn on. plug in with battery and it turns on. However does not charge battery

so i replaced u7100 maybe a bad one. same thing.

Please let me know what other steps i can take

What voltage is on PPBUS_G3H with charger only?
Measure resistance between pins 17/18 and 27/28 at U7100.
Check traces and resistors for corrosion in that area...

17/18 4ohm

and 27/28 20ohm (this seems low)

PPBIS_G3H should be 12.56V, remove F7140 and check if PPBUS_G3H goes high.......

Bad U7100 or bad soldering is my first guess here. Check for corroded traces around there too.

I changed a new one. Same thing. All connections looks fine.

Heres a before and after of the area. After installing the chip again. I know the connections is what's important. They all look fine.

Looks like pin 20 has the wire. Is the 5V1 present on pin 19 and 20?

Post voltages for U7100 pins 2, 19, 20, 12, 13, 3, 14, 9, 15, 1, 26.

q7130 was the issue. replaced and it works thanks
