[SOLVED]820-4924 fan not working.

hi guys,
820-4924 fan is not working . system is fully functional otherwise . missing SMC_FAN_0_CTL hence motor control is missing . SMC_FAN_0_CTL comes from under the smc so kindly advise . it had liquid damage around u3210 , cleaned and new u3210 fitted already . warming up near u3210 brings fan to life but the fan goes dead again after a little while .

Fan does not spin on these until it gets hot. This machine is fine.

went back to the machine and tested as advised . it seems it has a problem as fan does not kick in . kindly advise

It wont kick in until it gets hot. Unless its throttling you dont have a issue

Run internal diagnostic by holding down D on startup. It will test the fan.
