I usually put in the oven at 300f and then use the hot air station around 250c from a distance with tweezers to remove it. It requires patience to do, and calm. No doing this if you had an argument with your girlfriend that day.

Success! Green artifacts are GONE. Thanks to everyone for holding my hand as I did my first one. I was super worried about it but then realized that it was apply heat and fix the issue or toss it in the junk pile, so I really had nothing to lose (it's my laptop, they all are, I buy, repair, and resell). I was wary of applying too much heat but I was worried more about NOT applying enough heat and having the green artifacts still be there.

I tried to add [SOLVED] to the title of this thread but it wouldn't let me. Is that something only admins can do?
