Warped rubber bezel around retina assembly

So I thought I found a possibly good source for macbook parts, but I was wrong. Ordered an assembly for a 15 inch A1398, received it today to find it came with a warped rubber bezel/gasket. See images.
The screen works fine, but that gasket sticking up looks bad.
My first course of action is to complain to the (chinese) seller REWA Technologies about this. However, assuming I end up stuck with this screen, I was wondering if anyone has experience with a getting warped bezel to stay down. Might it be fixable for the long term using strong double sided tape?

thats probably a refurb. whatever they used it didn't keep it stay still due to heat while in transit.
i would just use 2part epoxy glue, and use clamps or use both hand for 4mins for the epoxy to set. of course clean of the excess epoxy while still liquid.

This is how all the Chinese shit LCD assemblies are. You should also notice that they used all non-Apple screws and half of them are missing. These assemblies are scraped together with parts that fell off the back of a truck.
Don't use glue it will get messy. Use thin 2 sided adhesive. Usually the rubber is held in place by the hinge cover pretty well.

I indeed noticed a few screws missing when I removed the hinge cover. Thats one more supplier to scrap off my list. I have a complaint waiting to be answered by the supplier, but I expect little from it. Thanks to the both of you. I'm a little worried that glue will get messy indeed, so I'll give the tape a try first. Its a shame really, the rest of the screen looks perfectly fine.
