I don't recommend to waste time on it.
You may have luck and fix it, but get back later claiming for warranty.

This is frustrating the customer still wants to fix it. So I am suggesting he check you guys out.
Use a fiberglass pen to clean the corrosion.
Replace any damaged component and rebuild traces, if need.
Be aware, may have accumulated crap underneath some BGA chips.
