Hi , just tried the board in a known good housing and still the same, i cant see any signs of spillage anyway

820-00165 macbook air battery issue, problem is laptop will power on from the keyboard when the mains is plugged in but not when its on battery only, i dont mean the laptop turns on when the mains is connected i mean it turns on via the keyboard when mains connected but not when just on battery...

as far as i know i did, had to look it up on how to do it but apparently hold you finger on the power button for approx 20secs but didnt get that far, laptop started up within 3 - 4 secs

Nope , starts chiming as soon as i plug in the power supply, was wondering wether to relow smc incase of bad connection ?

Hi, ive got an 820-3209 that keeps chiming repeatedly even with everything disconnected , there is no signs of spillage anywhere the board is as clean as a whistle, so im pretty stuck as to where to start with this one , so any help would be appreciated

nope nothing at l8304 on startup , get a steady 10mv at DP_INT_HPD with screen connected

yes get a light on a usb mouse and have cpu vcore

820-00165 no green light when battery plugged in, when battery unplugged board works fine , will not work from the battery only , somehow i have 19v on R7006 even with D7005 removed which means somehow the charger voltage is going directly to the battery ??? , i cant see on the schematic where...

oooh thanks :-) , just to make thing worse its not an 820-00239 its an 820-00923 which i cant seam to locate boardview or schematics, it looks the the 820-00239 do you know if i can use this one instead ???

Hi ive got an A1706 820-00239 that originally had a liquid spill back in Feb, i repaired the laptop and its still working :-) apart from the touchbar itself :-( , now first of all i thought maybe the touchbar itself got liquid a s well and just gave up so i replaced the touchbar but no luck ...

Hi, ive got an 820-00687 with no power and ppvrtc_g3h missing 0v , now this line looks like its a dead short to ground but i have noticed (maybe im wrong) that ppvrtc_g3h is connected to the cpu, so would it be safe to inject a little voltage to see what warms up ???, also im using schematics...

Hi yes i have 3v at pin 4 and 3v at pin 6 and 7 and resistance is the same on both pins and yes no backlight either, and just to put it in there cause i didnt say originally (my bad) , i have tested with a known good screen
