Eizo EV2450 monitors are £130 on eBay at the moment refurbished. IPS panels, light sensor, you can set them all the same with an XML. Only 1080p but really nice monitors.
Every time I get a board in that has a GPU with a little green dot on it, the BGA site solder mask is always raked to shit. They are always a pain in the arse.
Thing is, plenty of boards have been worked on already and they dont have that green dot and they are usually alright.
