Getting really frustrated by this board and I need someone smarter than me to explain what is going on. When I got the board it was water damaged but started with RAM beeping. It's seems to me that all power lines needed for this to start are present: - PPBUS_g3H = 8,6V - PP3V42_G3h = 3,41V - PPV5_S5 = 5V - PP3v3 = 3,3V - PP3V3_S3 = 3,3V - PM_SLP_S4_L = 3,3V So whats the next step here?

    [SOLVED]820-3437 strange charging issue

Badly corroded around U7100 and no PPBUS_G3H. Removed the old one, added a few jumper wires and soldered on a new U7100. It now starts and works fine, the problem I'm having now is that it always "detects" a charger even if not connected. It senses wether I'm using a 60W or 85W charger but does...

    [SOLVED]820-2530 Not recognizing battery

I have an 820-2530 that came in today totally dead but green light on the charger. The logic board showed no signs of water damage at all. PPBUS_G3H was 1,5V and Pin 1 on U7000 was only 6.5V. Removed U7000 and the voltage raised to 16.5V on pin 1. With a new U7000 I got 12.5V on PPBUS_G3H and it...

    Tricking the trackpad sensor

I now have more MacBook Air working Logic boards than I have cases to put them in. I was thinking it would be cool to make some sort of "Mac mini"/media center out of them but I don´t want to put a trackpad on there just to relax the fan. Is there a way to trick the thermal sensor circuit?
