a customer tried to replace the thermal paste and mangled the pins on the cpu socket. I know that on some of the 2015 apple laptops, the fan doesn't stay spinning all the time. Do the fans on the 2015 imac spin continually or no?

is there a way to tell which temp sensor is malfunctioning on the 2015 imac?
When an iMac is open, HDD and LCD temp sensors are the first suspects.

the fan was bad and q5675/c5675 had been knocked off the board
