And fails the upgrade from catalina to Big Sur?
Try clean ME, just in case.

If ME cleaned too, then try anorher known good BIOS, clean ME of course.

I tested another BIOS, in the tests it showed an improvement, but in the middle of the installation it shows an error.
Is there any component that can be causing this?
Try to install Big Sur in the same SSD, but in other machine.
If succed, put back that SSD and lets see what happens.
