I have a macbook in that has water damage, when the power cable is plugged in it goes green and then orange, no fan spin is seen.
Damage was sustained on R7523 (P5V_S4RS3_VFB1_R) which had gone high resistance and had corrosion attaching it to the nearby ground plane. This was replaced with another resister and corroded pad re tinned.
There was also corrosion between C1272 (PP1V05_S0_PCH_VCCACLKPLL) and C1297 (PP1V05_S0SW_PCH_VCCUSB3PLL).
There was also a small amount of surface corrosion, but no component damage around R5360
