820-00426 Battery charging issues

[No-Clean]

Clean board battery charges to 100% fine, discharges down to around 50% just fine, but around 50% the battery icon turns red, battery stays around 50% for a little bit then it drops to around 5%, computer sometimes also restarts randomly.

2 Known good batteries and same exact result.

I checked board and looks clean, also tested with different external OS and same thing.

Machine restarts only when battery is connected?
Same with charger plus battery, even above 50%?
Did you test its battery in other machine?

We have not been able to replicate restart problem at all.
We have only tested with battery only.
2 known good batteries.

The problem didn't appear with its battery installed in other machine?

I don't have another machine to test, we have been using this vendor and same batteries for years, they are not cheap and work great on all other machines in the past.

Almost certainly bad batteries. "New" doesn't mean "known good".

Battery problem, seems like supplier changed Chinese and now new batteries are crap...
