Hello,

I got this iMac 5K 2017 from another shop, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

If I press power button, it start, I can log... then after fem mins sometimes it crash the reboot then I can login again and it will work, stay alive for the whole night.. then I shut it down... and when I press power button, it won't start. I unplug power cord, try couple of times then it will boot again, crash and work... It's never the same scenario....

I've unplugged camera, I've replace power supply, I did SMC reset, I've removed CR2032... still the same. Sometimes it works, sometime it doesnt.
If I unlugged HDD, try another SDD, try without HDD/SSD, same... sometimes it will start when I press button, sometimes not.

MacOS 12.6.2
Radeon Pro 570 4GO
Intel Core i5 3,4 GHZ
RAM - 64GB 2400MHz DDR4

Thanks
Sam

What would you recommend, desolder the BIOS Winbond chipset to flash it or solder a connector on motherboard and then use Medusa ?

Remove the chip, connect it to Medusa and clean ME.
A4564/70/76 are the cheapest adapters to use with; also A4064.
I use A4064/69 many times...

Clean ME didn't help. I mount mb back, plug power cord, computer turns on (two leds only) but no image, unpluged power cords, keyboard, ,tried several times... nothing. Unplugged cable...wait 2 hours pluged it back, press power button...after few seconds it boot to login screen. I entered pw.. it crash.. black screen.... unplugged power cord, plugged it back.. black screen.. nothing. crap...
