820-00928 - Needs a clean Me Region

Hi,

I don't have Medusa but seriously considering it as I have spent an hour trying to clean the ME region with no success.
Followed Piernov video but got stuck with the FD file instead of the SCAP file and couldn't extract the raw ME Region.

I have that board which was f...ed by another shop and left for dead.
Originally the board would not charge but the guy try to flash the Bios and rework some other stuffs.

Long story short, Bios is corrupted so I need a known good Bios with a Clean ME region.
Board does turn on now and charge but will sometime randomly shutdown.
Hopefully it's just an ME region problem as I saw some rework near the PCH...

Thanks for sharing one please.

With `.fd` file you can just drag&drop onto Intel FITC and it'll extract ME region like a regular BIOS file.
Dirty ME can cause shutdown after 30 minutes, but it shouldn't be "random". Well clean ME is always a good thing to try.

Here it is:

Thanks Piernov. I'll give it another try.
What do you guys think about Medusa?
I really want to get it but it's not cheap and at the moment it's not the best time to spend money.

I did give it a try but when I am testing my output file into ME Analyzer, I am getting this message as I was with the original file:

Error: Detected CSE extension 0x03 with wrong partition hash at FTPR > FTPR.man

Is that normal?
