You've marked CHGR_CSO_P on U7000; it is connected to F7000/1, as PPBUS_G3H too.

Check direct between PPBUS_G3H and coils marked with 0.02.
You should get 0.05, or 0.01; let us know.

I can't read the values on the SSD coils...

PPBUS_G3H to the three big coils(0.02) = 0.05
I've added SSD pics.

That means the short don't come from a secondary power supply.
Just in case, did you check L3500 and L9580 too?
Are placed on the other side of the board.

Thanks

L3500 to GND = 0.442
L3500 to PPBUS_G3H = 0.468

L9580 to GND = 0.0
L9580 to PPBUS_G3H = 0.003

L9581 same as L9580

OK, the short is now found; it is U9580.
Remove U9580 and check diode mode to ground at L9580/81 again.
If still short there, at least one NAND chip is fried.

The short from PPBUS_G3H to ground, will of course disapper.

Thank you for all your help. So I gave up and reassembled the Mac today. I did a little test before preparing the package. I see it's taking from 0.11 to 1.06 amp when I press the power button. So I tried to put it in DFU, that works. I tried "revive" but it failed with "the operation couldn't be completed (AMRetoreErrrorDomain error 6 - Failed to handle message type StatusMsg (Operation failed) ... Is it worth try with Apple GSX server ?
