820-02020 - hall sensor problem

The Mac works fine. But it doesn't turn off when the screen is closed. The hall sensor fails and the Mac turns on (as if the screen had been lifted). If you leave the Mac turned off, with the screen open, it doesn't turn on.

I checked the board, everything is perfect. I looked for the sensor to replace, but I couldn't find one to buy.

If I remove it, would the Mac work normally? In older models, there is a method to connect the HALL_sensor with the SMC_LID, would this model have something similar?

To test and find out the bad side, correct me if I'm wrong.

Using the logic of the older ones. I thought about removing the RR201 and making a jumper connecting AMR_RIGHT_OR_ND_1V8 to AMR_LEFT_OR_ND_1V8!

If at least one left/right signal is good, LID_OPEN should go high.
However, M1 will consider both left/right signals for other purpose.
So you can do that if the left signal is high already.

I think it worked! I'm still testing it, but the screen has been closed for 2 hours and it hasn't turned on.
