Got this board that came in due to liquid spill and no power. Found UG400 and UG800 blown. Replaced to confirm short was gone which it did but something strange is happening; when usb-c is connected to JG600, i have no 5V on FG200 or FF200/FF201. I do have 5v on PPVBUS_USBC2. When connect power to JF600 or JF601, i have 5V on FG200 as well. I can't seem to figure out why this is. Any suggestions?

went ahead and pulled UG400, check for continuity to FG200(2) and all connections were good. Replaced all the usb-c chips again with the same result

Why to replace all?
Compare diode mode readings around UG400 with UF400/500.

Did you replace burnt CD3217 chip with one from same model board, maintaining its position?

I thought with these board they are all get replaced as a pair or is it just the 3 on the one side the get all replaced?

I checked diode mode and reference with openboarddate site. All checked out.

Purchased online from mobilesentrix. i've used them a few times without issues. I got two sets of the CD3217. Replaced UG400 twice to confirm it wasn't the chip.

CD3217 chip must communicate with SMC part of CPU, to switch to 20V.
But should deliver 5V output first, if battery is dead.
U5200 is capable to generate 12V (PPBUS_AON) from 5V input.
Next, 3V3_S2 must go to all CD3217 chips.

Check UG400's voltages on the right side of its POWER section; referring to schematic.

Here are the voltages

PPVBUS_USBC2 - 5.16
PP3V3_S2_ACE23 - 0.011
PP1V25_S2_ACE23 - 0.00
PP3V3_UPC2_LDO - 3.44
PP1V8_S2_USBLS2 - 0.00
USBC2_3V3LDO_EN - 0.00
PP1V5_UPC2_LDO_CORE - 1.59
