The computer had liquid damage. Everything worked fine except the keyboard, so I decided to replace it. I found corrosion around UR760, cleaned the area, and replaced UR760 to prevent future damage.
Since then, whenever I connect the charger with or without the battery the charger starts at 5V, rises to 20V, then immediately shuts off and restarts the cycle (about 3 seconds in total). It behaves the same way on all charging ports.
All voltage rails appear normal, and I couldn’t find any short on the board. Could UR760 really cause this behavior?
