Voltage on the RTC crystal? You are shorting the power pads to try and turn it on? Does the light turn orange when battery connected?

1. The voltage on y2810 is 1.7 on the top and 1.5 on the bottom
2. I do short the pads to turn it on, but I get the same voltages regardless.
3. The light turns green, but does not turn orange with battery connected.

3v3 S5 is not present. PPbus 3v42g3h is present. so it's like it's getting to U7840 and not coming out. P3v3S5_EN is present but P3v3S5_EN_L is not showing DC voltage.

"P3v3S5_EN is present but P3v3S5_EN_L is not showing DC voltage."
"Pay atention to the circle from pin4; that means inverted output (as _L specifies low level)!"
Unfortunatelly you don't pay such atention; P3v3S5_EN_L is correct...

"3v3 S5 is not present."
"21 3.5v"
So 3V3_S5 is enabled.
Change U7201 if you don't find any short around.

Ok, I think it makes sense now. Inverted means it's basically 0 and that makes it in an ON state. I'll double check 7201. it seems to be working, but it could be a sensitive chip if the outputs were shorted momentarily.

Thanks for the help. I’ll make an order for that chip as soon as I can figure out if I need some others for another board
