820-2879 green light, fan can spin

when i short on off, fan can spin, but no chime, and will cycle every 10 second, stop, spin, stop spin
ppbus 12.56v
pp3v42 : 3.42v
resistance of pp3v42 to ground is 2.5k ohm, i heard if its below 30k , its considered a bad mcp?
i tried to do smc bypass, but only the fan spin at maximum speed, but still no chime or anything indicating its alive
ppvcore_s0_cpu cycling from 3v to 1v

Looks like bad MCP.
Allow 20s after power removed and check again resistance to ground at 3V42 line.

Does the board stays on without RAM?
Did you try DDR3-8500?

3V pulse at VCORE is very strange...

okay, after letting it rest for awhile, resistance to ground pp3v42 is 9 kohm,,
board still cycle without any ram, ocassionally will have maximum fan speed, no chime
i already used 8500s ram..

somewhere arounbd 2.5-3.4v of vcore but its actually too fast to catch a glimpse, as it lower to 1v after fan spin
