so this macbook came in a while ago, for ram upgrade.
the top slot has broken plastic hinge so only the closest one to the trackpad is maxed out.
without ram, mac fan will spin forever, ppvcore_s0_cpu is 1.1v
but if i insert ram, mac's fan will loop every few second, any idea what causing this ? ram is known good 10600s.

Very likely damaged RAM slot too.

Did you try the board alone on the desk, without any peripheral connected?

yeah all that testing is motherboard alone, nothing connected.
if its ram slot, could it still be replaced?
any other possibility maybe

Not worth the work.
Such an old board you can get for good price I think.
