A1466 820-00165-A no power

Thats what I meant (5A max amperage set in PSU, witch is the max in my PSU).
I started with 1V and increased until 4V, because i couldn+t find anything hot. With 1V, it consumes 1.5A in PSU.
I'll try without the heatsink.
 
Hi, I am sorry, but I'm really not understanding this.
Now, without any intervention from me (just take out the heatsink), the first time i plugged the laptop this morning to the PSU, the 3V42_G3H is no longer shorted, and has 3.4V...
It has green light, but no fan sin and no power (20 mA on PSU).

I have all these good voltages:

PPBUS_G3H
PPBUS_S5_HS_COMPUTING_ISNS
PPBUS_S5_HS_OTHER_ISNS
PPDCIN_G3H_ISOL
PPDCIN_G3H
PP3V42_G3H
PPVRTC_G3H
PP5V_S5

But on PP5V_S4RS3 I get 0V (even on C7606)

Do you have any idea or should i give up on it?

Looks like partially shorted cap, I saw this several times; the shorted part got burnt when injected voltage.

Now check power on sequence.
 
I think i have all S5, but it starts missing in the S4s.

GOOD:
PPBUS_G3H
PPBUS_S5_HS_COMPUTING_ISNS
PPBUS_S5_HS_OTHER_ISNS
PPDCIN_G3H_ISOL
PPDCIN_G3H
PP3V42_G3H
PPVRTC_G3H
PP5V_S5
PP3V3_S5

FAIL:
PP3V3_S4 = 0V
PP5V_S4RS3 = 0V

Shel i check anything more?
 
HI,

Just saw that the R1617 is missing and the pads are gone. R1632 and R1410 also W/O one pad and lose...

There are several resistances around that area that seam to have a bit of corrosion.

I supposed you already rebuilt traces and resoldered ALL missing components.
PCH will not start power on sequence if R1410 is missing.
 
I try to figure out where PP3V3_SUS is created but couldn't find it. Can you please tel me in what IC that tension is created, so i can try to follow the track?
