A1466 SSD ISSUE

Check all adjacent components, following the schematic.
Pay atention to its sensors (Q5810/30/60) and their traces.

PCIE_CLK100M_SSD_P/N is shorted when SSD inserted and without SSD the diode reading is .300

Q5810/30/60 is readings are normal. Still replacing them just in case.

SSD is working. Fan Spin high and device very slow. tried a different ssd as well.

Check continuity between LIO thermal sensor (finstack) and MLB.

Check continuity between R5370/1 and corresponding pins of LIO Finstack Temperature chip.
You can use TMP 102 datasheet and 820-3057 LIO schematic as guide.

Mine is 820-00165.

No schematic of its LIO board; use mentioned one as guide!
The thermal sensor is the same.
You don't need to identify LIO connector pins.

I put the machine on SMC Bypass mode (with no battery) .
The machine operated faster than normal. Can it be a SMC issue?

It can be SMC issue.
But keep in mind, SMC doesn't supervise any sensor in SMC bypass; no matter is thermal, or I/V sensor.

Did you check mentioned lines for continuity?

yes i did. seemed ok to me.
I installed a NEW SMC. now i need to program but this machine just refused to boot via an external drive .

The device is much faster now. only thing left is to program the SMC so that max fan spin stops
