U7000 is good, as the board boots.
We have few threads about changing T2, but nobody left a feedback if tried and result got.
Keep in mind, some information is baked into T2 and can't be copied.

The board is not booting, I just have only 20v on the type c ammeter
Ssd voltages ok
3v ok
No s4 rails
Pls what’s else can I check or have we concluded it’s the T2

"The macbook will flash apple logo with a progress bar"
How is this possible, if the board doesn't boot?

Getting 13V at PPBUS_G3H, even for non botting board, means U7000 is OK.

If DFU can't be completed, looks like T2 problem...

So what should I do. Any information on how to change T2. Cause I have a lot of them here. And I’ll be glad to fix them. Thanks

As I said, nobody left feedback about changing T2.
If you have time, replace with one from donor board, same model; then try DFU.
At the end, may be just waste of time...

If you get an Apple logo with a progress bar, the NANDs and T2 are basically working. This is very suspect for an issue within the enclosure. Inspect trackpad and keyboard connector area for signs of damage. Or better yet, try in a known working enclosure.

I suspect you have something totally different going on. Why did you put the machine into DFU mode? From what you posted, it does not seem like it was in DFU by default.

The machine was drawing 5v initially, I changed u 7000. It stated drawing 20v. But still black screen no boot. So I thought of trying to restore it with configurator 2. So that how I got to dfu mode.
check all ssd voltages are all available.
configurator 2 gave me error 9. There was a flash of an apple logo on the screen then error 9.

OK,

As I suspected. We had a totally different issue, Now we have a secondary issue. What version OS is the machine you are using to restore using?

Did you note any amperage before putting it in DFU?

Why was U7000 changed? What was missing? Was anything measured or was it just empirically replaced?

I can’t remember vividly, but I changed one of the resistor beside the u7000. The resistor was physically damaged( small hole in the middle of the resistor) and 20v came. No display, track pad feedback intermittently( the track pad feed back goes off and on. Every 5sec the track back will click and stops intermittently , now configurator 2, dfu, error9. Thats the sequence.

Do you mean PPBUS_G3H cycles every 5s?
That explains why DFU isn't completed.

Try starting in SMC bypass mode.
Let see if the problem is not caused by some power sensor.

Please open new thread with this board; is not the same symptom.

You didn't specify if PPBUS_G3H is stable, or cycling every 5s, on the actual board.

Do you have the same behavior with flashing Apple logo now?

Be sure all AWAKE and SLPS2R voltages are steady; not cycling after 5s.
Check the same for SSD voltages.

After the restore progress bar got to 40%
It will bring the apple logo and progress bar and take it back immediately and error9

Another thing I noticed was, if I restore the board without the casing? The configurator 2 reached the end of its progress bar with error -1- , this happens if I restore the board alone without connecting any thing to it.
