A2681 820-02536 no power

Hi.

I have an A2681 820-02536 with no power (5V on ampmeter), and PP5V_MPMU_BSTLQ_XW is shorted.

C8432 was burnt and so I've removed. PP5V_MPMU_BSTLQ_XW remains shorted, so I think U8100 is the culprit.

Is it possible to replace U8100?

If so, do you know if I can use one from a different board model or where to buy it new?

Hi.

After replacing U8100 I still only have 5V and U8100 might not be the culprit.

PP5V_MPMU_BSTLQ_XW has 0.002 on diode reading, and I'm not sure if that´s a normal value.

Can you help?

Not normal; did you check it once MPMU was out of board?

Yes, I've checked it and it had the same value.

Can I safelly inject voltage?

If short without MPMU, then must be a bad capacitor.
Voltage injection method should help.

C0850 was the culprit and I've removed. I don't have any new one with taht value, and can't find it in other different boards so I leaved the board without it.

Now I have 0.459 on diode reading and 2.3V on PP5V_MPMU_BSTLQ_XW.

Still only 5V on ampmeter
