Macbook A1706 Stuck at 5V. No PPBUS

For My Reference Only :IK2

Getting 5V on Charger. Very Low Current.

PPDCIN is 5V.

No Voltage on PPBUS. PPBUS Diode to Ground readings are .500 on both sides - so no shorts.
Removed the Fuse and still not voltage on either PINS.

DIODE MODE
C6905/6 Pin 1 is .092

I found that weird but as per OpenBoardData it should be OL.

R6902 Reading is .561 both sides.

D6902
Pin 1 .467
Pin 2 .561
Pin 3 is .092

When you check the value of a resistor, use ohm scale between its pins!
And diode should be tested in diode mode between pins also.

0.092 denotes bad component connected there.
Usually C6905/6, or U6903.

Removed C6905/6 and U6903. Then also value is same - 0.092.

R6902 value between pins in ohms scale is 2.3 Ohms

Removed R6902 as well. Still the Value is same.

Indeed.

Removed C6905/6, U6903 , D6902 and U7000 and PPVIN_G3H_P3V3G3H is OL now.

Now putting back components 1 by 1 and seeing what is creating an issue. Updating in 30 mins.

I put back
U7000 - started getting value. Removed it
U6903 - started getting value. Removed it
C6906 - started getting value. Removed it.

Are all these components bad ?

Putting back these individually and started getting value in diode mode instead of OL.

Do not expect OL, when you solder U6903.
C6905/6 yes, should give OL.
Also be sure to check properly; red probe on ground!

After resoldering all of them, still 0.092?
Or which one causes this value?

U7000 is not even directly connected to the mentioned line; D6902 is in the middle.

I'm not sure what you do there, but something wrong for sure.

Yeah, I forgot that U7000 is connected there too, in these models.
0.600 is a good reading.
Find which component drops it to 0.092; and replace that one, of course.
