Did you check them after close/open the lid?

Are the sensors located in the speakers?! The display does not turn on only after a long sleep of more than 30 minutes. If you turn off the Mac and close the lid at any time, it turns on immediately. There are some problems with waking up the display since the keyboard backlight turns on immediately.
Left sensor is on the MLB, J4800.
