AMR_RIGHT_OR_ND_1V8 = I didnt disamble the board at at all. Is there a way to check it without dissamble or the LEFT measurement already means something since its below 1.8v?
Just to let you know with the LID open and leaving the computer for 1 hour without usage when I use trackpad and keyboard its working fine.
How can I measure AMR_RIGHT_OR_ND_1V8 with JE900 connected and the board assembled? Is there a way? Looking at the schematics the only point would be RR201 which is on the back side of the assemble board.
The only option is dissamble everything? Is there a way to measure without dissamble?
Try to isolate its trace from JE900.
Left right sensor is sufficient, if machine works good without right one.
The pull-up resistor is on the MLB (RR201); no need to keep the sensor connected.
I did not understand. What do you mean by isolate the trace?
JE900 is below the board I didnt disconnect it on JE900
I disconnected it on the small board which have the audio jack and I am not sure the position of this trace on that small board since I only have schematic of the main logic board.
Yes machine works fine with the other side of JE900 disconnected
Yes RR201 is on the main board and also on the side that is NOT accessible with the board connected
Can you explain me with more details detail what to do?
I kind of keep asking you, and you give me shallow information of what to do, usually a tiny sentence then I need to come here and make the almost the same question again.
I am deeply sorry to have less knowledge than you in this area and come here to ask you.
But that's how I repair some boards and it helps me make a living.
RR201 is by default connected to pin 1of UR200 according to the image
You must cut off the trace for AMR_RIGHT_OR_ND_1V8, maintaining RR201 connected to UR200.
Do NOT cut between RR201 and UR200!
So find a convenient point to do this.
Just need to interrupt the connection with JE900.
Best option, cut the trace.
Do not damage the connector; in case you decide to change AMR sensor in the future.
I don't have the board in front, to follow that trace...
There is good to cut the small trace.
Be aware, do not damage that "test point"; there is where the trace goes inside the MLB.
Is not a pure test point.
Not a big problem however, if will not replace the affected AMR sensor in the future.
