Sup man. I don't know about your home town but down here in Miami very few shops know how to Microsolder... With that said using exploiting apps like 5 miles and Offerup goes a long a way. Don't just advertise computer repair. Advertise water damage repair, Doesnt turn on ? no problem.. visit all the "other shops around town let them know you repair motherboards at component level. I dont know if you have a best buy frys or staples. But bring the girl in the front some patrys from a the best bakery in town.. give your card tell her to send people your way and to call you and you'll hook her up. This is how i've gotten a ton of business. The problem is i don't know how to fix anything on a board I usually just replace them. Go get business its out there. GL!
I can second what Alizi and Louis say. Vary what you say and say it in as many ways as possible. Maybe say the same thing in several different ways. Use anything that people can identify with. Spending several hours into days looking at what others are offering, how they worded it, how they priced it and what warranty they offered and T&Cs if any. Then set about making everything "look" better.
Liquid damage repair is a good one because (In my limited expirience) the majority of Macs that need "unauthorised" repair are liquid damaged
I advertise actually at a higher rate but at fixed rate... Rather no customers than cheap customers because cheap customers are a pain in the fucking ass.
