Do you have PP3V3_S5 ? Voltage on pin 2 of R7941 ?

Resistance between pin 17 & 18 on U7000 ? Is battery detected in OSX ?

Any history of the board ? Liquid etc ? Have you tried known good OSX image as a starting point ?

Does the charge light turn green when you press the power button ? Basically is it doing a smc reset ?

SMC should be sending out SMC_BATLOW_L. Check Pull up R5040.

Its got to do with the way you are doing the rework,or holding the board down. Its never fixable permanently (afaik). Obviously you know what your doing, you may want to tweek your profile a little. I've done +100 of these, and not a single RAM slot failure. (Famous last words)

In schematic, you'll see u2800 doesn't have a lot to do with the internal display port. Start from j8300 work backwards from there. There is not a lot to check. Can you post a pick of these artifacts, im just curious ?

i doubt you'll be able to buy a single one. Part number 53780-8606 made by Molex. onlinecomponents.com has these. Personally i'd go donor route unless you can rig something else together.

is this ohms or diode mode voltage drop ? if its ohms, its way to low. Probably dead vRam or GPU or both.

Is S5_PWRGD present ?
