after replacing d7005, Macbook boot up fine, but does not (idk see battery / charge the battery ), it say not charging, unplugging magsafe will result in macbook turned off immediately
Looks like not u7000 shunt resistor problem because resistance between pin 17/18 : 2.8 ohm 27/28 is 20.5 ohm
Does any fet cause this? Because i have messed up with the q7050, q7021, and q7020 before
ppvin_g3h_p3v42g3h is shorted, internal shorted because i already lift all caps and component of it, so i construct new path , you can see the picture, now it give a dim green light with blinking yellow light, i have 16.5v on fuse
Im pretty confident with my smc reballing skill.., should be no problem..
Yeah my bad about finding problem before replacing every burn thing..
Well i miss pin 6 of u6990 which doesnt give me green light.., now i have steady green light with original magsafe.., back to not seeing battery problem..
Okay the fan spinning but no caps lock or backlight / image or anything, and ppbus is 8.18v with magsafe only connected..
smc_reset_l 3.4v, so either isl / smc right ?
Voltage 3.4v on both, steady
Diode mode very similar 0.444 same value both
Tried another smc, ppbus is 8.2v , board still can turn on, it can see battery, but not charging and can’t run off battery
Ppbus with battery only connected is 1.3-1.4v
After replacing q7050, macbook now run off battery and showing percentage, but still not charging, even if restaitance between 17/18 and 27/28 is good, can the isl still be bad ?
8.2V is not correct PPBUS_G3H (without battery).
As voltages and diode mode readings are good on battery bus, then should be SMC, or U7000 problem.
I hope you soldered ISL6258...
