Data recovery for new models 2016+

Hi. Just got off the phone to a potential business customer who tell me there is a port somewhere on the new MacBooks to gain access to the SSD for data recovery... Is this right?

I have not looked at it yet. But looking at the 12" model there is none. Also the SSD requires many voltages, so the board needs to sort of power on. I doubt it will be that easy, but people who want their data will make up BS stories like this.

Apple sells AASP's a tool to recover data from these boards. I'll order it and post more details when I have it here.

I have the device,and I have already seen a few dead 2016 model macbook pros. Since Apple have no parts for the 2016 available at the moment, they are exchanging these computers.

I'll try to use the device tomorrow

I have also seen a few of the 2016 macs with graphics anomalies, not looking good...however this has nothing to do with this thread, so i'll stfu....

I will try to update this weekend. Still haven't had time to play. You dont need GSX to play with this. .
